Essential Duties

  • Assist with planning, ordering or production of food items pertaining to the respective section(s) of the food and beverage outlet and/or kitchen.
  • Prepare meals in accordance with portion and quality standards.
  • Assist in creating and testing new recipes and menu design.
  • Responsible for inspecting the cleanliness of the line floor and all kitchen stations.
  • Provide instruction to other culinary staff.

  • Know your work schedule and follow it with a high degree of reliability.
  • Promote and apply teamwork skills at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
  • Utilize protective equipment, when applicable.
  • Promote the hotel through goodwill, courtesy, and a positive attitude.
  • Continue to learn and grow in your position.
  • Comply with hotel policies, procedures, uniform and grooming standards.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a cook.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this role.
  • This role requires full availability for any shift, any day of the week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to carry/lift/push/pull items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Job requires frequent bending, stooping and kneeling.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English. Other languages preferred.
