Pay Rate: $5.08/ hour + Tips
Overview:

Our Bartenders will be friendly, outgoing, possesses good communication skills, be organized and be able to think and act quickly and effectively. They will retain self-composure, possesses a sense of urgency and timing, set high standards, be quality conscious, and have an eye for detail. They shall take pride in personal appearance and have a sense of dedication to the team. At all times, they will display integrity and honesty in all aspects of work. Last, but not least, they will bring their creative flair and always look for ways to improve our service and menu options!
Essential Duties:

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for all guests in a prompt and courteous manner while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.

Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to determine when alcohol service to the guest should cease. Notify management.

Check identification prior to serving alcoholic beverage to guest/customer.

Set up bar including all liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies.

Perform pre and post shift side work, which includes cleaning, organizing, and stocking inventory as needed.

Inspect bar area and equipment daily for cleanliness and attractiveness.

May assist with other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

Must have 2 years’ experience as a bartender in a hotel/restaurant environment.

Minimum 21 years of age or older to service alcoholic beverages.

Must have a strong knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, garnishments/presentation.

Job requires frequent bending, stooping and kneeling. Ability to carry/lift/push/pull items weighing up to 50lbs.

Must be available to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English (verbal and written).

Provide legible communication.

Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.

Maintain concentration and think clearly providing service to multiple guests within any given period of time.

Flexibility to stay later than scheduled shift in order to complete full cleaning responsibilities.

Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision and to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
